Job Description
Reporting to Head of Ground Services, you are expected to adopt a hands-on approach and play a key role in the formulation and implementation of the Company’s Emergency Response Programme in accordance with the requirements of the regulations, safety management system, IOSA standards and recommended practices.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the Company’s Emergency Response Plan including Crisis Management Manual and Station Crisis Management Manual
Establish various emergency response training programmes to support emergency response processes
Design and organise emergency exercises and drills to assess the Company’s emergency response readiness
Manage and monitor the outsourced external emergency services providers
Liaise with Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department and Hong Kong Airport Authority on matters relating to crisis management and emergency planning
Undertake any projects directed from Head of Ground Services and work closely with Head of Corporate Quality, Safety and Security
Tertiary education or above
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in crisis management/emergency response, and at least 5 of which in aviation management in a similar role
Formal training in at least one of the following: Emergency Preparedness, Disaster Management, Business Continuity, Safety Management Systems (SMS), Transportation Disaster “Family Assistance Program”, Emergency Exercise Management, Critical Incident Management, or other ERP-related courses
Having thorough knowledge of aviation safety and security operations
Good command of both oral and written English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua a significant advantage
Independent, self–motivated and able to work under pressure
Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Emergency Response Planning Manager
