Job Description
Reporting to the Revenue Accounting Manager, the successful candidate is expected to assist in managing all aspects of passenger revenue accounting and perform accurate and timely revenue recognition, billing, cash collection and month-end close processes.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for all passenger revenue accounting tasks, such as sales report audit, receivable, refund handling and interline billing etc.
Timely review the procedures with applicable system to enhance the effectiveness / efficiency of workflow and update manuals
Report for cases of non-compliance and irregularity and make recommendations on risk control
Manage / monitor ticket stock control and distribution
Prepare revenue & operation statistic reports and month-end closing
Provide support to overseas offices on revenue accounting matters
Reconcile bank accounts and perform ad hoc duties assigned by the superior
Requirements
Holder of a bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting / Finance or related disciplines
3 - 5 years’ relevant working experience in accounting; experience in airlines and knowledge of ticketing is an advantage
Able to meet financial closing deadlines and with strong sense of responsibility
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
Proficient in MS Office applications and knowledge of general financial systems
A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Independent, self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work under pressure
