Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager, Finance, the successful candidate is expected to develop and implement an effective procurement system and processes for supplies, equipment, goods and services in support of rapid business growth, including solicitation development, evaluation, purchasing and contracting, vendor management and record keeping in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities
Develop inventive and cost-effective procurement strategies for the Company
Lead end-to-end sourcing projects, from market research, sourcing and engagement with reliable suppliers and vendors, financial analysis, contract and commercial negotiations, to evaluation and contracting
Develop and manage strong supplier / vendor relationships, including conformity to contract performance, resolution of payment disputes, extensions, renewals, and price adjustment when needed
Perform risk assessment on potential contracts and agreements
Review and enhance existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility
Control procurement budget and promote a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
Oversee and make good use of IT systems to keep track of shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods
Prepare procurement reports and purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Requirements
Holder of a bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration / Logistics or similar disciplines
A minimum of 5 years’ working experiences in procurement and 3 years of which in a managerial position
Possessing in-depth knowledge of contracts, invoicing and negotiation strategies and terms
Good command of both oral and written English and Chinese including Putonghua
Proficient with MS Office applications
A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Organised, customer-oriented, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to work under pressure
