We cannot provide bassinets in-flight for infants due to constraints of the aircraft type.
Foldable strollers are allowed to be carried onboard if they meet the requirements of our carry-on baggage policy and fit in the overhead compartment. If your baby stroller is oversized, you may be required to check it in (free-of-charge) at the counter or gate.
If you are travelling with children between 2 to 12 years old, you must purchase an individual seat for them at the applicable adult fare. Children must be accompanied by an adult of at least 18 years old during their journey.
You may bring your own car-type safety seat or CARES harness in the cabin for children between 6 months to 3 years old. Please refer to car-type safety and CARES harness for details.
For safety reasons, passengers travelling with infants and children are not allowed to be seated at emergency exit rows.
Greater Bay Airlines aims to make air travel accessible for everyone and offer help where needed. We provide special assistance to passengers with disabilities, who may need wheelchairs or other mobility devices such as canes, crutches, etc. All mobility devices can be carried onboard free of charge, provided that they meet the relevant safety and security regulations and requirements. In addition, we may also provide special assistance to passengers with vision, hearing, or speech impairments, etc.
Passengers with mobility impairment or disability may request wheelchair service up to 48 hours before flight departure. Our attendant will assist you within the airport area and to the boarding gate or aircraft door. If you want to travel with your own wheelchair, please refer to Special Baggage - Mobility Devices - Wheelchair for details, and contact our Service Centre at least 48 hours before your flight departure.
For safety reasons, wheelchair passengers are not allowed to be seated at emergency exit rows.
Visually impaired passengers may request Meet and Assist service free of charge. Our attendant will assist you from check-in counter to boarding gate, and from arrival gate to arrival hall upon your arrival. For safety reasons, visually impaired passengers are not allowed to sit in emergency exit rows, whilst an aisle seat is recommended.
While we don’t allow animals onboard, exception is made for a guide dog/assistance dog travelling with a visually impaired passenger in the cabin.
You must give an advance notice of 48 hours at the time of booking and submit the required documentation through our Service Centre.
Moreover, we can only accept guide dogs or assistance dogs which appear to be in good health and condition. A guide dog/assistance dog must be fully accredited by Assistance Dogs International, Assistance Dogs Europe or International Guide Dog Federation (IGDF). For more details, you may contact our Service Centre.
As restrictions on guide dogs and assistance dogs may vary per country, please ensure your dog meets all the regulations specified by the country of your destination.
Due to safety reasons, passengers with a guide/assistance dog are not allowed to be seated at emergency exit rows.
Passengers who use hearing aids or other battery-powered assistive devices may bring these devices onboard without advance notice. You may use your assistive devices throughout the flight if they meet all applicable batteries regulations and requirements, and provided that you bring your own power source.
Please note that our airport staff will assess whether a hearing-impaired passenger travelling alone requires a personal/safety assistant, if any doubt exists about the self-reliance of the passenger. Wheelchair assistance may only be offered to a hearing-impaired passenger if the passenger requests it themself.
Due to safety reasons, a hearing-impaired passenger is not allowed to be seated at the emergency exit rows.
For passengers with intellectual or developmental disabilities such as Alzheimer disease, you may request assistance through our Service centre, at least 48 hours before your flight departure.
If you need support to understand or respond to safety instructions, you must travel with a personal and safety assistant during your flight as our crew may not be able to attend to passengers at all times.
If you require assistance with personal care onboard such as feeding, moving in the cabin (to/from lavatory and seats), administering medication, etc., you are required to travel with a personal assistant. If you need help with evacuation, you must travel with a safety assistant due to safety reasons.
The personal and safety assistant may be the same person, either a relative or a hired private attendant of at least 18 years old is accepted. They must be self-reliant, and physically and mentally able to provide the required assistance to you.
Please contact our Service Centre at least 48 hours before your flight departure. You may not be seated at emergency exit rows due to safety reasons.
Stretcher service is not available on Greater Bay Airlines’ flights.
Greater Bay Airlines has the right to refuse to carry passengers on our flights. For more information, please refer to the General Conditions Of Carriage (REFUSAL OF AND LIMITATION ON Carriage).
Elderly passengers may bring certain types of mobility aids such as canes, crutches, and walkers onboard free-of-charge, provided they can be safely stowed within the cabin.
If you would like to request Meet and Assist service, please give an advance notice of 48 hours at the time of booking through our Service Centre.
Greater Bay Airlines’ flight will not accept passengers with medical conditions, whilst our staff is not qualified to provide any medical or health-related care or administer medication to passengers.
You are required to travel with a personal and safety assistant at least 18 years old, who is physically and mentally capable to provide the required assistance to you.
If you require medication and administration by syringes through an injection during your flight, such as Insulin for diabetes or EpiPen for allergies, you are allowed to carry syringes (needles) onboard. The syringes and medication should be professionally packed and clearly labelled by a pharmacy, hospital or medical clinic, and your name should be identified.
If the medication is not labelled, you must present a medical certificate or supporting letter from a doctor stating your name, the name of the medication and declaring the medication is medically necessary. For other types of injectable medication you may need during your flight, you are required to obtain a medical certificate to prove the medication can be carried onboard and is medically necessary.
Please note that the syringes (needles) should be carried together with the injectable medications, or a medication loaded syringe (EpiPen). You must be able to present the items at any time for security inspection and you are required to inform our cabin crew if you use syringes/needles onboard.
For hygiene reasons, we are not able to refrigerate medication for you. If you need to bring medication that requires refrigeration, please pack it into a cool bag or vacuum flask with dry ice in quantities of less than 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs), to allow the carbon dioxide gases to evaporate freely.
Please note that the cool bag and dry ice must be in accordance with the regulations for passengers’ carriage of liquids, aerosols and gels; and dangerous goods restrictions.
You are allowed to bring and use your own portable medical electronic devices (PMED) during your flight, provided that you or your travel companion has full knowledge and physical ability to operate the devices. Please note Greater Bay Airlines cannot provide you with any medical equipment for treatment of medical conditions and our flights will not accept passengers with medical conditions.
Please ensure you have sufficiently charged batteries to power your portable medical electronic device for 1.5 times of the expected maximum flight duration. The batteries must be compliant with ICAO instructions.
For spare batteries, they must be individually protected to prevent short circuit or damage, and may only be carried in carry-on baggage. If your medical device is operated by lithium batteries, please refer to the Lithium Batteries for more information. Please note that certain regulations and restrictions (e.g., dangerous goods) will also be applied.
If you need to bring and use your own Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) or Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure (BIPAP) during your flight, please submit the details of the device (e.g., model number, dimensions) to our Service Centre at least 48 hours before your flight departure.

Due to safety concerns, passengers who travel with or use any type of medical devices shall not be seated at the emergency exit rows.
For safety reasons, oxygen cylinders shall not be checked in, carried, or used onboard our flights. Greater Bay Airlines does not supply medical oxygen for in-flight passenger’s use.
If you are pregnant while travelling, you are advised to consult your doctor or midwife before flight departure. You may be required to present a medical doctor certificate to our staff at check-in, stating your expected delivery date and certifying you are “Fit-for-travel”.
The medical certificate must be issued within 7 days prior to your flight departure, and must be provided by a recognized medical body. Either paper form or e-certificate is accepted, including the following information:

Medical clearance may be required depending on the circumstances of the pregnancy, whilst it may result to Greater Bay Airlines’ flights cannot accept you if you travel with medical condition.
