Job Description

Your role is to process the navigational data and information to enable safe, efficient and cost-effective operations of flights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the navigational data for flight planning system, aircraft, simulators, EFB devices and offices are accurate and up-to-date in compliance with the state rules and requirements of Line Operations by procedures set-up and control of the data
  • Analyse feedbacks to identify the issues for contributing and improving the overall navigational data integrity and operational efficiency
  • Prepare the budgets on costs and expenditures on applicable items for Line Operations
  • Review operational requirements regularly and assist in procedures development by working with relevant parties to contribute in smooth operations
  • Lead the team and motivate subordinate staff to meet the workload of the Unit effectively and efficiently
  • Execute the specific or special tasks and duties and take up the extra responsibilities as required by the direct and indirect managers and provide operational or emergency supports when necessary
  • Act as a focal point with the vendors on data reception and integrity with necessary following-up
  • Assist on Foreign AOC application process for the company

Requirements

  • Hong Kong permanent resident status
  • Holder of bachelor's degree in Aviation or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in airline and flight planning related field is a definite advantage
  • Experienced in the flight planning system used by airlines
  • Experienced in IOSA audit will be an advantage
  • Good command of both oral and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, knowledge of automation software will be an advantage
  • A good team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
