Job Description

You are expected to coordinate IT project activities to ensure that project objectives are accomplished within the approved timeline and budget based on business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT project activities to ensure that project objectives are accomplished within the approved timeline and budget based on business priorities
• Evaluate project pipeline dependencies, risk and delivery approach for accomplishing projects.  Take lead to negotiate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure project goals and milestones will be met timely
• Manage the dynamic project team of individuals.  Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle
• Adopt necessary standard and best practices for project management and ensure compliance
• Attention to detail, be proactive in communicating risks and issues clearly and concisely and support stakeholders with the preparation of action plans
• Ensure a transparent, quality project portfolio reporting to stakeholders
• Manage operating cost and budget

Requirements

• Hong Kong permanent resident status
• Holder of Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business or related disciplines
• A minimum of 8 years of IT experience of which at least 4 years in project management role
• Technical proficiency in hardware and system software, as well as experience in implementing packages and working with vendors 
• Project management related certification such as PMP, and professional certification such as UI/XI, ICP, PMI-ACP, CSM, ITSM, PRINCE, are preferred
• Experience in managing customer digital experience, e-commerce projects for airlines, hospitality, travel loyalty businesses.  Airline industry experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Experience in managing projects with ability to multitask and management multiple medium projects in a cross-functional environment
• Detailed knowledge of service transition and cut-over planning
• Candidate with less experience may be considered for the position of Assistant IT Delivery Lead
