Job Description

You are expected to support day-to-day processes in the Safety Management System (SMS), Flight Data Analysis Program (FDAP) to ensure safe flight operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of Flight Data Monitoring software system
  • Support the development, implementation and maintenance of Flight Data Analysis Programme
  • Support to prepare regular FDAP reports and review meetings
  • Monitor the serviceability of flight data recording and analysis systems
  • Assist in the implementation of quality safety management database
  • Manage safety data for risk and trend analysis and management review
  • Support the development of SMS related training and promotion materials
  • Support safety occurrence investigations
  • Support the IOSA accreditation in SMS, FDAP
  • Undertake any projects directed from Head of Corporate Quality, Safety and Security

Requirements

  • Hong Kong permanent resident status
  • University education in aviation-related or safety science or human factor or psychology or risk management discipline or aircraft or mechanical engineering will be at an advantage
  • 1-3 years’ working experience in aviation roles
  • Holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer / Mechanic licence or Private Pilot Licence or Commercial Pilot Licence or Air Transportation Pilot Licence will be an advantage.
  • Familiar with SMS and Flight Data Analysis operations will be at an advantage
  • Familiar with the IOSA programme will be an advantage
  • Familiar with business intelligence software such as Power BI will be an advantage
  • Experience or completed study or training related to airline flight operations or Flight Data Analysis Programme or Safety Management Systems (SMS) will be an advantage
  • Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
