QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER
You will report to the Manager, Quality Assurance to ensure the standard of accomplishment meets the regulatory requirements, quality standards, safety standards, maintenance agreements and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out audit on AMOs, FTM, AIM, line stations / third party contractors, as well as fuel audit required by IATA Fuel Quality Pool (IFQP)
- Conduct investigation to safety reports and MOR events
- Manage, monitor and perform aircraft technical surveillance programme and store inspection programme
- Assist to manage and monitor compliance with the requirements of the CAD AOC Maintenance Support Arrangement and IOSA
- Conduct / prepare for CMR / C of A Renewal / Issue for the fleet
- Liaise with CAD on matters pertaining to the airworthiness of the Company aircraft fleet
- Furnish reports to CAD of accidents / incidents that could impact hazards, safety, and airworthiness
- Assist to manage the system for monitoring and/or amending the MME as per CAD and IOSA requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned by the MQA
Requirements:
- Hong Kong permanent resident status
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or any related discipline or aircraft maintenance technician with additional education acceptable to the job
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in aeronautical industry
- Experienced in the company systems and procedures, and technically knowledgeable of the aircraft being maintained
- Attended training courses such as Hong Kong Airworthiness, Lead Auditor, Human Factors and/or Safety Management System is preferred
- Knowledge of Safety Management System (SMS)
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Duty travel may be required
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively across functions at all levels
