Greater Bay Airlines enhances customer experience with complimentary inflight refreshments


(31 July 2025) Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) will provide complimentary inflight refreshments to all its passengers starting today as a part of the ongoing initiative to enhance customer experience. Passengers will each be served onboard a delicious pastry and a Chairman’s Pick beverage. The refreshments are specially prepared for passengers’ enjoyment while prepaid meals and other inflight meals, snacks and beverages are still available to meet their needs and preferences.
Ms Crystal Rauti-Ho, Assistant General Manager Inflight Services of GBA, said, “Customers always come first at GBA. We listen carefully to them to gain new perspectives about how we can bring values to them. We are a small but agile team that enables ourselves to respond faster to customer needs. This new offering demonstrates our continuing commitment to enhancing the travel experience of our passengers.”
The selection of refreshments will change regularly and is subject to the journey time of different routes.
GBA’s prepaid meals, highly acclaimed for the quality and variety, are still available for passengers’ order no less than 48 hours before the scheduled departure time of their flights. A dozen choices are offered for only HK$38 up (online special price).
A value carrier based in Hong Kong, GBA commenced service in July 2022 and is currently operating scheduled flights between Hong Kong and Bangkok, Taipei, Tokyo, Osaka, Yonago, Tokushima, Sendai, Sapporo, Manila, Phu Quoc, Zhoushan, Huangshan, Yichang, Guilin, Zhangjiajie, Quanzhou and Xuzhou with a fleet of Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
