At the airport

Please note that check-in counter opening and closing times may vary by location, and are subject to local airport restrictions. You are advised to check the specific airport information page of your departure airport for the latest information. 

If you have check-in baggage, please arrive at the airport check-in counter at least 60 minutes prior to the scheduled time of departure.

If you travel without check-in baggage and have your printed boarding pass, you may directly proceed to the boarding gate at least 30 minutes prior to flight departure.

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, in-town check-in services at Hong Kong Station, Kowloon Station and Tsing Yi MTR Station are suspended until further notice. 

The check-in counters at Hong Kong International Airport are located at aisle D of Terminal 1.

Upon arrival at the airport, you may find the gate information on the flight information display system.

Depending on the nature of your travel and requirements of your destination country, the documents to be presented upon check-in may vary.
