RIDING ENGINEER

The candidate reports to Manager, Maintenance Operations and performs riding duties between Hong Kong and outports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance duties during aircraft transits which include but not limited to defect trouble shooting, aircraft inspection, certification, and AOG spare part inspection
  • Ensure all maintenance works on aircraft, engines, components, and equipment are recorded and carried out properly
  • Record defect findings with proper action handling and rectification / deferral
  • Establish a good co-operational relationship with local MROs, service providers, and agents
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Hong Kong permanent resident status
  • Holder of a Higher Diploma or above in aircraft engineering or any related discipline and / or a qualification that demonstrates suitable experience in aircraft maintenance
  • Valid HKAR-66 / CAAC-66 Licence with Boeing 737-800 and/or -9 type rating in B1 Category is a must
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in aircraft maintenance with at least 3 years aircraft CRS experience
  • Exposure in 737 series aircraft maintenance certification experience is highly preferred
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good team player
  • Independent and ability to work under pressure with good decision making
  •  Shift duties on a roster basis
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Riding Engineer
