LINE STATIONS ENGINEER

Manage engineering and maintenance operations outside Hong Kong, ensuring each line station is delivering Safe, Compliant and Reliable aircraft to the Airline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain new Line Stations to ensure compliant and smooth operations from service providers in maintenance support, aircraft technical ground handling and refuelling
  • Liaise and ensure effective delivery of GBA company procedures training to all Line Stations
  • Liaise and ensure effective delivery of applicable GBA manuals and documentations to all Line Stations
  • Oversee spares and tooling/equipment requirements for line stations and other material management duties
  • Establish and maintain regular communications including Line Stations visits and surveillance
  • Manage and ensure the Line Stations Manual (LSM) is up to date with accurate information
  • Perform and/or co-ordinate investigations to all Safety Reports and MOR in Line Stations and develop effective mitigations
  • Coordinate and assist when required AOG aircraft at line stations with MCC for an optimal recovery plan and timeline

Requirements:

  • Hong Kong permanent resident status
  • Able to drive in Hong Kong
  • Holder of a Higher Diploma or above in aircraft engineering or any related discipline and / or a qualification that demonstrates suitable experience in aviation industry
  • A minimum 5 years’ of related working experience in airline industry / line maintenance
  • Knowledge of the Line Maintenance network and operations and demonstrate a good understanding of the issues / challenges
  • Excellent command of the English language, addition knowledge of Chinese language is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills with all customers, all levels internal and external
