GROUND SERVICES OFFICER (QUALITY AND SAFETY)

You are expected to assist Quality and Safety team to manage and execute procedures and processes to comply with regulatory requirement in quality, safety and security perspectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist to execute procedures and processes to comply with regulatory requirement in quality, safety and security perspectives
  • Assist to manage the station flight handling inspection plans and schedule according to each station risk level and performance
  • Identify potential hazard, security threat and report to Headquarter (HQ) timely, carry out following up action for risk mitigation
  • Perform pre-launch and combined station audit for the scope of ground handling services according to company requirements
  • Coordinate with HQ teams and Ground Handling Agents (GHAs) to achieve operational integrity with zero safety defects and security infringements
  • Report to management in regards of individual station performance in terms of quality, safety and security
  • Issue action list to station on accountable traffic delays and performance issues and follow up for completion
  • Perform any other duties as assigned 

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education or above
  • A minimum of 1 year aviation or airline working experience 
  • Knowledge of all aspects of Ground Operations, Aviation Safety and Security
  • Aviation Internal Auditor qualification is an advantage
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficient in MS Office application
  • Strong in determination and implementation
  • Positive thinking and excellent communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure and independently
  • Able to perform roster duty as assigned from time to time
  • Able to travel overseas extensively
