Medical Condition and Assistance
For safety reasons, oxygen cylinders shall not be checked in, carried, or used onboard our flights. Greater Bay Airlines does not supply medical oxygen for in-flight passenger’s use.
Travelling with Infants (under 24 months)
We accept infants for travel after 7 days from birth. Infants below 2 years old throughout their entire journey must travel with a parent, guardian, or escort who is at least 18 years old. Please refer to “Travelling with infant” for more details
Each adult may only bring a maximum of two infants. If you are travelling with two infants, one of the infants may be seated on an adult’s lap at an applicable fee per flight segment. (Please refer to the ‘Travelling with infants’ for details). The other infant must be at least 6 months old and be seated on an individual seat with a Child Restraint Seat or CARES Harness, for which an adult fare applies. Each infant is entitled to a Child Restraint Seat or CARES Harness or baby stroller for check-in free of charge. Baggage allowance is not included for infants not occupying an individual seat. Infants paying an adult fare are entitled to the baggage allowance of the selected branded fare type. You may also purchase prepaid baggage allowance online via Manage Booking at the applicable fee.
We regret that we are currently unable to provide bassinet seats for infants in-flight due to aircraft constraints.
Travelling with children (2 – under 12 years old)
Children under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or an escort who is at least 18 years old. We regret that Unaccompanied Minor service is currently not available on our flights.
Young Travellers
Young passengers from 12 to 18 years old may travel alone without an accompanying adult.
Travelling with Animals
We do not accept pets for carriage, whether in the cabin or as check-in baggage.
A guide or assistance dog may travel for free under certain conditions. For more details, please visit Guide Dog / Assistance Dog section under Disability and Mobility Assistance page.
Wheelchair Service
Passengers with mobility impairment or disability requiring wheelchair service or travelling with their own wheelchair may find more information on our Wheelchair Passenger page.
If you require assistance with personal care onboard such as feeding, moving in the cabin (to/from lavatory and seats), administering medication, etc., you are required to travel with a personal assistant. If you need help with evacuation, you must travel with a safety assistant due to safety reasons.
The personal and safety assistant may be the same person, either a relative or a hired private attendant of at least 18 years old is accepted. They must be self-reliant, and physically and mentally able to provide the required assistance to you.
Please contact our Service Centre at least 48 hours before your flight departure. You may not be seated at emergency exit rows due to safety reasons.
