Job Description

Reliability System Engineer (RSE) is responsible for develop and maintain the Reliability System for all aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and monitoring significant aircraft defects, recurring defects, dispatch reliability, MEL usage and to highlight trends and identify root causes
  • Monitor elements included in the reliability system and ensure timely investigation/compliance of alerts
  • Maintain records of aircraft utilization (hours and cycles)
  • Identifying and recommending the necessary changes to the Maintenance Program and/or Engineering Procedures to improve overall dispatch reliability
  • Continuously reviewing defects on log pages and on scheduled maintenance task cards
  • Maintaining history of all recurring defects for the fleet and component workshop reports, including all investigations carried out to determine cause of defect and corrective actions

Requirements

  • Hong Kong permanent resident status
  • Holder of a Higher Diploma or above in aircraft engineering or any related discipline and / or a qualification that demonstrates suitable experience in aircraft maintenance
  • Minimum 5 years’ of related working experience in aircraft systems and engineering
  • Knowledge of commercial aircraft systems, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the engineering and maintenance requirements of aircraft
  • Knowledge of Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Good command of both oral and written English and Chinese
  • Proficient in Maintenance & Engineering software applications
