    • Passengers having completed Self-service check-in (Online Check-in, Mobile App Check-in or using Self Check-in kiosk located at the West Kowloon Station) may check-in their baggage at the counter from 24 and up to 4 hours prior to their flight departure time. The baggage check-in service is subject to a service fee of HK$120 per piece of baggage.

Boarding Gate 

Please be advised that our scheduled arrival and departure gates will be assigned to Gate 201-230 in Terminal 1, with effect from 31 October 2023 (Tuesday), and possibly to be assigned to the rest of the gates in the Terminal 1.  Please reserve ample time, at least 30 minutes to reach your boarding gate before departure to ensure a smooth boarding process. Passengers may check the latest status of their flights via the Hong Kong International Airport’s Official Website, at the Flight Information Display System, or approach our staff at check-in counters.

Customs Information

Passengers entering HKSAR are required to declare any prohibited / restricted items to Customs officers at border control points if:

  • the quantity of dutiable commodities is in excess of the duty-free concessions; or
  • currency and bearer negotiable instruments (“CBNIs”) exceed a total value of HKD120,000 or the equivalent in foreign currencies.
