  • An infant must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at least 18 years old.

Please note that each adult may only bring a maximum of two infants, provided that:

  • One of the infants must have reached 6 months old and occupy a Child Restraint Seat or CARES Harness, for which an adult fare will apply. To reserve a seat for an infant, please contact our Service Centre.
  • The other infant must be secured onto the parent or guardian with a supplementary loop belt, for which an infant fare of HKD260 per sector will be charged.
  • The parent or guardian should bring their own Child Restraint Seat or CARES Harness, which must comply with Greater Bay Airlines’ requirements and safety standards.
  • You are advised to make infant bookings online or via our Service Centre as far in advance as possible due to the limited number of infants that can be accommodated on a flight for safety reasons.

If you are travelling with an infant or child between 6 months and 3 years old, you may bring your own Child Restraint Seat onboard. Please note the following guidelines:

  • An individual seat must be purchased for the infant occupying the Child Restraint Seat at the applicable adult fare.

  • Be of such a design that the child can easily and quickly be secured in or removed from the seat.
  • Have a single release type harness which secures the infant’s lap, torso and shoulders while preventing unreasonably easy release by the child occupying the Child Restraint Seat.
