ROUTE ANALYST
The objective of the role is to maximize revenue across the global network by managing demand, pricing and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control the flight inventory in response to different passenger demands and also have the right fare level for different markets at different seasons
- Closely monitor passenger booking trends and anticipate the effect of news, happenings and events on demand
- Monitor constantly competitors’ activity and pricing strategy, economic and market trends
- Incorporate market changes to demand through demand influences proactively
- Interpret and analyze large sets of data on the assigned routes or portfolio and make recommendations to improve commercial strategy
- Forecast passenger demands on route by POS
- Regular review of the business performance and action required
- Carry out new route and additional frequency studies, to provide recommendations on route capacity management
Requirements:
- Tertiary education or equivalent in business, economics, finance, accounting, mathematics or statistics is an advantage
- 1+ year solid experience in data analysis / revenue management gained from airlines
- Strong numerical sense and data analytical skill
- Independent, adapt quick, high team spirit, good communication
- Proficient in MS Excel formulation and data management tools, good in MS Word and PowerPoint
- Good command in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
