Greater Bay Airlines management joins inaugural flight to Osaka

They were greeted by Mr Francois Southarewsky, Corporate Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer (Aeronautical) of Kansai Airports (third right), Mr Atsushi Kato, President and Chief Executive Officer, CKTS Company Limited (second right), and Mr Morimasa Hasegawa, Director of CKTS Company Limited (first right), upon arrival at the Kansai International Airport.

Passengers of the Osaka inaugural flight took a photo with the GBA cabin crew at the departure hall of the airport.

On board the flight to Osaka, passengers were able to enjoy the delicious palmiers and crispy cookies specially made by Imperial Patisserie.

(28 April 2023) Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) commenced scheduled service to Osaka today and the airline’s management joined the inaugural flight to celebrate the launch of the fifth destination of its network. This new service will operate three times a week between Hong Kong and Osaka (Kansai International Airport).

Joining the inaugural flight were Mr Wong Cho Bau, Chairman of GBA, Mr Stanley Hui, Chief Executive Officer of GBA, Mr Andrew Leung, President of Legislative Council of Hong Kong SAR and Director of GBA, Mr Albert Li, Director of GBA, and Mr Eric Tsang, General Manager (Content Operations) of Television Broadcasts Limited. They were greeted by Mr Francois Southarewsky, Corporate Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer (Aeronautical) of Kansai Airports, Mr Atsushi Kato, President and Chief Executive Officer, CKTS Company Limited, and Mr Morimasa Hasegawa, Director of CKTS Company Limited, upon arrival at the Kansai International Airport.

Passengers of the inaugural flight were warmly welcomed by GBA staff when they checked in at the Hong Kong International Airport early this morning. Each of them was given a souvenir pack and an inaugural flight certificate to mark this memorable moment. On board the flight, passengers were also able to enjoy the delicious palmiers and crispy cookies specially made by Imperial Patisserie.

GBA’s new Hong Kong – Osaka, Kansai service offers a convenient schedule with three morning flights a week to Hong Kong travellers. The flight schedule is as follows:
