GROUND SERVICES SUPERVISOR (PASSENGER SERVICES)
Job Description
You are expected to develop and uphold policies and procedures related to Passenger and Baggage Services, create training materials, support new port startups, and ensure compliance with company standards, IOSA protocols and regulatory requirement, especially in anticipation of our network expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist supervisors in developing and maintaining passenger and baggage services, related policies and procedures, training materials, and upkeep of training records to ensure compliance with company standards, IOSA, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with all stakeholders, including the commercial and operations teams, for new project and service rollouts
- Ensure all policies, procedures, and standards related to passenger and baggage handling comply with airport, regulatory, corporate quality, safety and security requirements
- Respond for implementing changes and ensure policies are outlined in our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Deliver Passenger and Baggage Services training to internal and external staff as required
- Prepare data and presentation materials for management review
- Monitor trends in passenger and baggage services, including new policies and procedures, and service levels to establish strategic long-term planning that enhances passenger experience and regulatory compliance
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Tertiary education or above
- A minimum of 5 years aviation or airline working experience, including at least 2 years in supervisory level
- Knowledge of all aspects of Ground Operations
- Knowledge of IOSA requirements would be an advantage
- Proficient in oral and written English and Chinese, Putonghua is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office application and Chinese word processing
- Excellent customer mindset
- Independent, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- Able to perform roster duty as assigned from time to time
- Able to travel overseas extensively as required
