Material Management Executive
Job Description
You are expected to be responsible for supporting operations by ensuring that parts are available as required, including for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage spares requirement for line and base maintenance events including demands for Aircraft Deferred Defects (ADDs), line & base maintenance work packages, scheduled maintenance, Aircraft On Ground (AOG) and aircraft modification by sending spare request or Request for Quotation (RFQ) to suppliers or service provider
- Monitor the logistics and delivery of requested materials from the service providers or suppliers to ensure timely receipt into stock and the delivery of spares from warehouse to production
- Manage stock availability and take replenishment action as required
- Manage the disposition of unserviceable spares removed from aircraft
- Vetting and validation of invoices and resolving invoice discrepancies with suppliers/service providers
- Work with Finance for payment arrangement and other invoice management
- Perform duty standby or shift after office hours for managing critical / urgent / AOG related to material requirement as required
Requirement
- Degree holder in Aircraft Engineering or equivalent discipline
- A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience with airline working experience in engineering or MRO would be an advantage
- Good command of both written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
- Ability to work independently and in team
- Good project management skills
