Greater Bay Airlines welcomes the 2024 Policy Address

(16 October 2024) As stated in the 2024 Policy Address delivered by the Chief Executive today, the Hong Kong SAR Government will step up efforts in expanding the aviation network by supporting the Hong Kong International Airport to explore new destinations and flights, and various innovative initiatives will be introduced to develop Hong Kong into a premier tourism destination. Greater Bay Airlines CEO Liza Ng welcomed these initiatives and reiterated that the airline is committed to opening more new routes to meet the market demand. She believed these initiatives will not only benefit Hong Kong’s tourism and overall economic development but will also help speed up the recovery of Hong Kong’s international flights, particularly long-haul flights, to the pre-COVID levels, further enhancing Hong Kong’s status as an international aviation hub.
