MAINTENANCE CONTROLLER
Maintenance Controller is responsible for the primary operative in the Maintenance Control Centre (MCC) for performing and coordinating activities and priorities, and overall control of decisions making of all maintenance activities during the shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shift in-charge of MCC day to day operation, overall control and monitor of the efficiency and safe coordination in maintenance operations to provide technical support for all line stations and HKG base
- Working with Flight Operations in providing current and continuous reports of general technical status of all the fleet
- Coordinate with related parties during operations or aircraft rotation in case of specific maintenance requirements and manage disruptions
- Monitor and control all information dissemination from MCC
- Initiate and organise AOG support including manpower, tools, and spare parts arrangement
- Guide and advise personnel during troubleshooting and while performing maintenance issue in critical defect / AOG / delay handling
- Monitor delay / AOG and cross check the details with the operational departments in the shift and provide a summary report
- Initiate and coordinate with related division / departments / AMO to arrange emergency team for AOG rescue and aircraft recovery
- Monitor all aircrafts undergoing lessor checks and provide up-to-date aircraft status
- Aware for any incident that results in emergency procedures and provides notification to all concerned parties according to the Company requirements
- Monitor ADD status for time compliance control
- Provide daily maintenance report
- Maintain a MCC shift handover log
Requirements:
- Hong Kong permanent resident status
- Holder of a Higher Diploma or above
- A minimum of 5 years’ aircraft maintenance experience
- Holder of valid aircraft maintenance basic license(s) eg. HKAR, FAA, EASA, CCAR, etc. or equivalent
- Knowledge of HKAR governing aircraft certification and maintenance
- Knowledge of Safety Management System (SMS)
- Good command of both oral and written English and Chinese
- Proficient in MS Office applications and word processing
- Willingness to perform shift duties
- Duty travel may be required
- A team player, with excellent decision making and communication skills
- Independent, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
