Greater Bay Airlines launches scheduled service to Haikou in July

(17 June 2024) Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) today announced the launch of a scheduled service to Haikou, the capital city of Hainan Province, China, starting 12 July 2024. This new service will operate five times a week between Hong Kong and Haikou (Haikou Meilan International Airport).

Located on the north side of Hainan, Haikou is a tropical coastal city with a long coastline of about 130 kilometres. It is a family holiday destination with beautiful beaches, world-class golf courses and many cultural attractions. Qilou Old Street is one of the must-sees in Haikou where many historical arcade houses with a fusion of European and Asian architecture style can be found. What’s more, the new duty-free shopping complex provides an abundance of duty-free goods from hundreds of world’s famous brands.
