SUPERVISOR, OPERATIONS CONTROL CENTRE

Job Description

You are expected to assist Operations Control Centre Manager in coordinating all activities affecting the day-to-day functioning of the Operations Control Centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily supervision of the Operations Control Centre (OCC)
  • Ensure safe, cost-effective and efficient execution of the daily flight schedule
  • Resolve operational issues and achieve On-Time-Performance with a focus on flight safety
  • Maintain effective communications between the OCC, Crew Control, Maintenance Control Centre (MCC) and all other Company departments
  • Coordinate the implementation of crisis response procedures
  • Deputize as Duty Officer when required
  • Other duties as assigned by superiors

Requirement

  • Hong Kong permanent resident preferred
  • Tertiary education in any discipline
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in aviation industry; preferably in flight operations control, flight planning and dispatch or crew rostering and control environment
  • Knowledge of airline movement control, crew control and/or flight planning systems
  • Knowledge of Approved Flight Time Limitations Scheme (AFTLS)
  • Proficient in oral and written English and Chinese
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking ability
  • A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Independent, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
  • Willingness to perform shift duties (includes weekends, public holidays and overnight)
  • Possess of Hong Kong Driving License Class 1/1A preferred but not essential
  • Candidate with less experience would be considered as Operations Control Officer
  • Candidates who want to work part-time are also welcome
